This policy explains what information hotkey.gg ("hotkey.gg", "we", "us" — operated by [LEGAL ENTITY / OPERATOR]) collects when you use the trainer at [hotkey.gg domain], and what we do with it. Questions: hello@hotkey.gg.

What we collect

Account information. If you create an account, we store your email address and the display handle you choose. Much of the trainer can be used anonymously, without an account.
Gameplay data. Your drill times, scores, session results, and personal bests, so we can track your progress and rank you on public leaderboards (shown under your handle, not your email).
Browser local storage. We keep your theme choice, onboarding status, and personal-best times in your browser's local storage, and your sign-in session token is stored locally by our authentication provider. These are not advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Technical data. Our infrastructure providers automatically log standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the Service secure and reliable. Web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of delivering them.

How we use it

We use this information to run the trainer, show your progress and leaderboards, secure accounts, respond to you, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data, and the trainer does not display ads.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase for authentication and database hosting, [hosting provider] to serve the site, and Google Fonts for typography. We share only what each provider needs to perform its function.

Retention & deletion

We keep account and gameplay data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and its associated data at hello@hotkey.gg; deleting an account removes the gameplay records tied to it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or object to the processing of your personal data — for example under the GDPR (EEA/UK) or the CCPA (California). Children

The trainer is not directed to children under [13/16], and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

International users
